Why Swedish dish clothes are incredible!

For years I have been researching and trying sustainable products. Some haven’t worked so well for me, like the dish soap bar, and I have yet to find a refillable bulk shampoo I love (trust me I’m working on it)…but one thing I’m SUPER worked up about is Swedish Dish Cloths!!!! You all need 1 or 5 immediately! (And huge shocker, I sell super awesome ones in my shop)! Why are they so awesome you ask…well they are made of 80% cellulose and 20% cotton, and they don’t take a lot of energy to produce. Each cloth absorbs 20x its weight, and replaces 17 rolls of paper towels. They’re super durable. You can use them to clean literally everything- wash dishes, wipe up spills, clean your pets muddy paws, wipe your kids nasty face (you get the picture), and they provide streak-free cleaning of mirrors, glass doors, and windows, etc. The dishcloths air-dry much more quickly than your average stinky sponge and therefore bacteria don’t have time to grow on them, which keeps them smelling fresh. Then, if they do happen to start smelling gross or they’re incredibly dirty, simply toss them in the dishwasher or washing machine and they’ll be good as new after one cycle. You heard me right! You can put them in the dishwasher or washing machine. You can reuse each individual cloth hundreds of times before composting it or throwing it out, and fear not — they won’t sit in a landfill later on, because they’re 100% compostable and biodegradable too.
